Zvezdara

Zvezdara is one of the city's central municipalities, and it was named after the Astronomical Observatory, built in 1887, which was soon called the "Zvezdarnica", so that later on, it was finally named Zvezdara.

It is very attractive for buyers of apartments of all structures, due to its position and perfect connection with other parts of the city. The most frequently requested apartments are along the Boulevard of King Alexander: around the monument of Vuk karadžić, the Djeram market, the Lyon or the Cvetko’s market, and it is especially interesting due to the vicinity of a large number of faculties and the possibility of renting smaller apartments.

There is a great interest among buyers for the locations that connect the street Dimitrije Tucović, such as Slavujev venac, Bulbuder and the City Hospital, and especially attractive properties are near the Zvezdara Forest.  In addition to the central part of Zvezdara, within this municipality there are also Mali and Veliki mokri lug, as well as Mirijevo.

Zvezdara has, in a architectural sense, suffered radical changes, because from the poor settlement on the outskirts of Belgrade, thanks to the great need for the expansion of the city, in the decades after the war, a number of newly built buildings and landscaped streets were given.

This municipality today contributes to the modern way of life of its citizens, by a large number of kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, health, cultural and sports institutions. It is perfectly connected with other parts of the city by numerous lines of city traffic.
